This is my first ever wrap up post. I don’t know why I’ve written one before. I thought I would give it a try this month though, as I have gotten through five whole books! So, without further or do, here is my March 2019 Wrap Up.
The Queens of Fennbirn By Kendare Blake ⭐⭐⭐
I am so glad I picked this up. I originally went into Waterstones for Two Dark Reigns and saw this and I am really happy I did. This novella was amazing and I really enjoyed going into Two Dark Reigns with the extra knowledge from this novella. There was a lot of fluff though that I felt could have been left out.
Two Dark Reigns by Kendare Blake ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I found this book far more engaging than the second book (One Dark Throne). However, it does progress slowly which I found difficult at times. Its hard to be patient because you just wanna know whats gonna happen. When I did finally get to the end… my heart was not ready. I need Five Dark Fates and I need it now!
Legion of Mono by C.D. Tavenor ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I received this short story for free in return for an honest review. I thought it was a really good concept for a story but I did feel that it should have been made into a full length novel instead of trying to cram such an intricate scenario into such a limiting amount of pages.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J.K. Rowling ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Harry Potter series is free on the Kindle App so I decided to do a reread of the series. I have not read these books since I was a child so I wanted to see if my perspective would be much different. I thoroughly enjoyed delving back into the world of Hogwarts and I cant wait to make my way through the rest of the books.
The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I was seeing this book all over social media and people who got ARC’s were saying how amazing it was. The synopsis mentioned dragons and I was SOLD. I needed to go on this epic fantasy adventure and it really is incredible! This book took me most of the month to get through and I loved it! The story is fantastic and it was worth all the time spent reading it.
That is all for this my March 2019 Wrap up. You can check out my April TBR HERE. How many books did you read in March?
